Project Overview
Inspired by nature, the owners of Riviera Apartment envisioned a living space that would recreate the feeling of a panoramic mountain view within the interior itself. To achieve this effect, four large polished stone slabs were installed in a dramatic book-matched composition directly opposite the living room seating area. The natural veining creates a mirrored visual flow, transforming the wall into a sculptural centerpiece and the emotional focal point of the apartment.
The installation required advanced technical execution due to the weight and scale of the slabs. Using a high-strength two-component adhesive system and a structurally suitable brick wall, we achieved a seamless and secure installation while preserving the uninterrupted beauty of the natural stone.
One of the key aspects of this project was the precision planning and optimization of the slab cutting process. Using the remaining material from the main slabs, we successfully fabricated the kitchen backsplash and the cladding for the kitchen island supports. Thanks to careful planning by our specialists, the technological waste for the entire project was reduced to below 5%, maximizing material efficiency without compromising aesthetics.
Book-Matched Stone Composition & Kitchen Details
The living area was designed around the visual impact of large-format natural stone surfaces combined with minimal architectural detailing.

This approach allowed the stone to become the defining artistic element within the apartment while maintaining complete visual harmony between the different zones.
For the kitchen countertop, we selected Absolute Black granite — one of the most durable and refined natural stones available for kitchen applications.

Prada Gold Granite & Sivec Marble
In the entrance area, two large slabs of Prada Gold granite introduce warmth, texture, and subtle visual drama to the interior.

Enhanced by concealed lighting, the stone softly captures attention and creates a sophisticated transition into the main living spaces.
For the bathrooms, the owners selected the legendary Sivec Marble — one of the most prestigious white marbles in the world, quarried in North Macedonia since ancient times.

Rather than pursuing completely seamless surfaces, the bathroom design embraced carefully measured and symmetrical joints. This decision allowed for more efficient slab optimization while preserving the direction and continuity of the natural veining throughout the wall cladding.
Through precise cutting and thoughtful material planning, we successfully minimized waste while maintaining the purity and elegance of the design concept.
