Project Overview

A major challenge in this project was the extremely tight delivery schedule. Within just four months, Morion BG successfully produced and installed over 5,000 linear meters of marble and granite elements. The works were executed simultaneously by two installation teams, requiring precise coordination and synchronization between the main contractor and subcontractor.

The project included a wide variety of complex architectural stone elements such as oval coping stones, trapezoidal caps, window sills, and extensive installation work performed entirely using scaffolding systems. The highest installation point reached +50.10 meters, where all works were carried out under strict safety conditions with full harness protection — a clear demonstration of the technical demands and scale of the project.

Marble Details & Architectural Precision

For the coping elements and window sill details, a high-quality white marble with subtle grey veining, sourced from Turkey, was selected.

  • Premium Turkish white marble
  • Subtle grey natural veining
  • High-gloss polished finish
  • Window sills and façade coping elements
  • Extensive vertical installation at height

Due to the material’s natural hygroscopic properties, protective impregnation was applied immediately after installation to prevent staining and long-term surface contamination. This ensured the preservation of the marble’s bright, reflective finish even under heavy environmental exposure.

After completion of all construction works and final cleaning, the full beauty of the polished white marble was revealed once again, highlighting its elegance and timeless architectural value.

Pool Area & Thermally Flamed Granite Works

For the pool surroundings and main exterior circulation areas, the investor selected graphite-grey thermally flamed granite.

  • Thermally flamed granite for stairs and paving
  • Poolside and promenade areas
  • Fountain cladding facing the sea
  • High slip resistance surface finish
  • Low water absorption and high durability

This material choice proved ideal for the coastal environment due to its resistance to moisture, salt exposure, and changing weather conditions. Its uniform grey tone created a strong visual balance with the rest of the architectural composition.

Advantages of Thermally Flamed Granite

  • High slip resistance for safety in wet areas
  • Very low water absorption, ideal for seaside exposure
  • Homogeneous color for architectural consistency
  • Available in multiple sizes and thicknesses
  • Excellent durability for high-traffic zones

These characteristics make thermally flamed granite one of the most reliable solutions for large-scale exterior and waterfront developments.

Elevator Cladding & Final Works

As part of the interior scope, Morion also executed stone cladding for 26 elevators using light brown marble imported directly from Turkey.

This final phase completed the project with a consistent material language, ensuring that both exterior and interior elements reflected the same level of craftsmanship, precision, and architectural quality throughout the entire complex.
